Keep the number you love
We've made it even easier to port your number. Here's a step-by-step guide to get it done.
Start the journey
In the Melon App, tap "Keep my number" to kick start the move.
Enter your mobile number
Pro-tip: Make sure your number is on prepaid and that any current contracts are cancelled.
Watch us work
Once you hit continue, we start "Chasing your digits". Your current provider will send a one-time password (OTP) to your old SIM just to make sure it’s really you making the move.
The evening switch
Most of the magic happens while you're winding down, usually between 19h30 and 22h00. This ensures you have zero downtime during your busy day. We'll keep you posted with a "Pending" status in the app so you’re never in the dark.
Welcome to the family
Success! Once you see the "Porting Successful" message, pop in your Melon SIM and restart your device. You’re officially a Melon, with the same number and a whole lot more freedom.
